Cuba reported 26 infections due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus on Thursday the 16th, according to the new summary on the epidemiological situation issued by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).

During the day, 3,553 samples were processed; Of the 26 positives, 23 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases and in two individuals the origin of the infection was located outside the country; In one individual, the cause of the infection was not yet specified.
By age, the group made up of those under 20 years of age had seven patients; the same amount corresponds to the range between 20 and 39 years old, five to the group of 40 to 59 years old while seven also added those over 60.
