Cuba closed on Sunday, July 3, with 43 infections due to the SARS-CoV-2 virus, according to the report on the epidemiological situation broadcast today the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP).
Twelve territories reported infections, but only Havana (15) exceeded the number of four patients in the last 24 hours, when 2,274 samples were processed with a positivity rate of 1.9%.
Of the infections, 28 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases and in three individuals the cause was not specified. 10 were imported.

17 clinical discharges were notified and the number of people admitted as a result of COVID-19 closed at 365, the active cases totaled 167.
Bedridden in intensive care because of the disease this day there were two people.
By age, the group made up of those under 20 years of age had 19 patients; 15 corresponded to the range between 20 and 39 years old, two to 40 to 59 years old and seven those over 60.
The fatalities of the coronavirus continue to add up to 8,529 since no fatalities were reported this day either, according to health authorities.
