Cuba identified 100 infections caused by the SARS-CoV-2 virus this Monday, According to information issued today by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP). The notified discharges totaled 99.
In total, 1799 samples were processed and, of the positive ones, 78 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases and in three the virus had been imported. 19 add up the individuals in whom the cause of the infection was not specified.

The highest figures corresponded to Sancti Spíritus (15), Havana (14) and Holguín (11). All territories identified at least one new case.
By age ranges, infections continue to predominate in those under 20 years of age, with 48 cases on the day. In addition, 24 corresponded to the range between 20 and 39 years old, 11 to 40 to 59 years old and 17 were over 60.
761 people remained hospitalized due to this pandemic, of which 491 were confirmed active cases. Bedridden in intensive care were five patients, three in critical condition and two in serious condition.
The fatalities of COVID-19 continue to add up to 8,529 since no deaths were reported this day either. The lethality is 0.77%.
