Corinthians beat São Paulo 2-0 on Sunday morning (22) in the second leg of the Brazilian women’s championship final and won their sixth championship. The match was broadcast live on TV Brasil. 
After beating their rivals 3-1 at Morumbi in the first leg, the Brabas do Timão, as the Corinthians women’s team is known, could have lost by just one goal to secure the title in regular time. Corinthians fans broke the attendance record for women’s football. 44,529 fans were present.
