A traffic accident recorded this morning on the Coral Highway, near the entrance of the municipality of Higüey, has left several injured according to preliminary information, the injured were transferred as confirmed to the newspaper today, to a medical center in the east of the country.
The incident involved a bus that was crossed on the roadcausing a strong tamponade that has hindered traffic in the area.
The authorities have not yet offered official details about the causes of the accident or the state of the injured. The traffic remains partially blocked while assistance and clearance work is performed.
