Copei warns that without inclusion it will not participate in the primaries

The national secretary general of the Christian Democratic party Copei, Juan Carlos Alvarado, warned on Monday that if there was no inclusion of all the factors that make up the Venezuelan opposition, they would not participate in the primaries.

In Alvarado’s opinion, the unitary platform continues promoting sectarianism and the exclusion of many of the sectors that oppose the government.

“It is unfortunate that this commission was born in a straitjacket, with a clearly exclusive regulation that leaves out the feelings of the vast majority of Venezuelans,” he added.

The leader of the green awning reiterated that this process was hijacked by a group of politicians who prioritize the interests of the organizations of which they are a part.
