The presentation was basically a draft, which contained the transversal axes, to deal with the different problems that afflict the country.
Guillermo Ferreiro, president of the Febrerista Revolutionary Party (PRF), pointed out that now they hope to have the final consensus so that the 10 points are fixed. In other words, they are only waiting for the final observations before making the document official.
It should be remembered that next Tuesday, April 19, the definitive programmatic axis will be presented.
When asked about the differences that exist between the Frente Guasu and Patria Querida parties, he pointed out that everyone understood that it is a broad consultation and that they are going to look for common ground.
“What we agree on is that no one is going to be asked to renounce their principles,” he commented.
He finally said that there is no risk that infiltrators could distort the results.
GARCIA
Carlos Sebastián García, national deputy for the PPQ, pointed out that the talks are advancing, the steps continue to be taken and the intentions are maintained.
“The important thing is to understand that we are going to have obstacles and differences, but the challenge is to rise above it and understand that the challenge is much bigger looking at the great challenge that is 2023,” he said.
He said that the opposition must know how to agree and demonstrate something much better than the current model of government that does not work.
“We have differences with everyone, but the challenge is to put the general interest first for the benefit of all. Everyone has differences, in all sectors”, he commented.
CAMACHO
Fernando Camacho, president of the Encuentro Nacional (PEN) party, reported that June 27 is the deadline for the presentation of alliances and agreements.
“Today the will to create a government schedule is demonstrated. The technicians of all the nucleations are going to meet, prioritizing the points of agreement”, he pointed out.
He maintained that this is the first time that they work for the terms of an agreement, since the past experience with Fernando Lugo and Mario Ferreiro was through alliances.
“The figure of the agreement is new and positively striking. It will allow a kind of primaries of all the political parties and it will legitimize whoever is the winner, ”he commented.
He finally said that there are still no officially defined badges and that he does not consider it necessary for two candidates for the presidency to be united in a single badge.
“I believe that each candidate for president has the obligation to choose the vice president with whom they can best work. Over the years, the conflicts that are generated between the President and the Vice President have been seen,” he stated.
