The beginning of the school year is being planned in the Huancavelica region, since, in a couple of days, on Monday the 14th, they will begin to receive children in most of the state schools in the region.
In the morning hours of Friday, personnel from the Regional Government, Regional Directorate of Education, National Police, among others, coordinated in order to plan the ceremony for the start of classes in 2022 at the Micaela Bastidas Puyucahua Educational Institution.
This was confirmed by the director of the aforementioned campus, Evaristo Araujo Condori, who explained that from 8:00 a.m. they will begin with the ceremony which will be attended by regional and national authorities.

“We are coordinated with the institutional image offices of the Regional Government and the Regional Directorate of Education, the police to see security, since a visit by a Minister of State is scheduled for Monday,” said Araujo Condori
He explained that whoever sold Huancavelica and appointed by the PCM would be the women’s minister Diana Miloslavich, however, the issue is still being evaluated by the relevant security entities.
BIOSECURITY IS A PRIORITY
It should be noted that the director of “Las Micaelas” stated that they do comply with the biosafety conditions established by the regulations to receive the school population.

“We are in favorable conditions for Civil Defense, the DREH, the Municipality, the Comptroller’s Office and the Prosecutor’s Office, who have come to do the corresponding monitoring,” said the director.
However, a detail that caught our attention is that this year they have less school population.
“Before the pandemic we had more than 550 students, however, as a result of this pandemic, to date, we have registered an enrollment of 420 students, it has decreased, probably, as a consequence of this pandemic, due to the change of residence of families due to work reasons,” said Araujo Condori.

Finally, he recalled that during the two years that the region faced the pandemic, two teachers from this campus lost their lives.
