CoopMaimón and Homs: beyond a strategic alliance

CoopMaimón y Homs: más allá de una alianza estratégica

As part of its expansion program, the Maimón CoopMaimón Savings and Credit Cooperative signed an agreement this Thursday with the management of the Metropolitan Hospital of Santiago (Homs), through which they will bring the services of the financial institution to hospital employees.

The agreement was signed by the heads of both institutions, David Israel Polanco, president of the CBoard of Directors of CoopMaimón, and Dr. Héctor Sánchez Navarro, deputy director general of Homs.
With this agreement, from now on the employees of the aforementioned health center will be able to apply for the different financial products that CoopMaimón has, it is about more than 1,500 direct employees, around 200 doctors and their secretaries, of which 555 employees are already cooperative members.

Among the services to be offered are: Savings Accounts, Small Savings for the smallest of the house, Fixed Term Deposits, Credits, Coopsan, FomiCoop, among others.

For about four months Cooperativa Maimón has installed its service point at the Homs headquarters, where it has granted some 219 credits amounting to $29 million 902 thousand pesos.

The aforementioned service point will also be available to the more than 146,000 members of the financial entity, scattered throughout the national territory. “From now on we will begin to work to create in our associates in Homs, as we have been doing in other parts of the national territory with all our associates, a culture of savings, in them and their families, which will consequently raise their quality. of life.”

Likewise, during the act, Dr. Sánchez Navarro stated that it is a great satisfaction to have a strategic alliance with a model entity, such as CoopMaimón, in addition, he stated that this agreement, which is part of of the Corporate Social Responsibility strategy of the health center in favor of its collaborators.

Also participating in the event were Irma Grullón, General Manager of CoopMaimón; Ramón Antonio Díaz, Vice President of the Board of Directors; Dr. Héctor Sánchez Navarro, deputy director general of Homs; Mirlán de los Santos, manager of Health and Inavel Reyes, manager of the CoopMaimón office in Colinas Mall.
