Caracas. Given the accusation presented by the Public Ministry, farmer Edgar Antonio Castillo Rea, 42 years old, was sentenced to 14 years and seven months in prison for his responsibility in the sexual abuse committed against a seven-year-old girl.
The event occurred on January 1, 2020 inside a home in the La Unidad sector, town of Upata, Piar municipality of Bolívar state.
According to the police report, at approximately 5:00 in the morning that day, the girl’s family and a neighbor were at a New Year’s Eve celebration, when they realized that the man was in one of the rooms of the house sexually abusing the minor.
