The state airline Conviasa will connect the country with China starting next December 20, the Venezuelan Government announced this Friday, December 6.
On the social network Instagram, the Ministry of Transportation indicated that the air connection will be between Caracas and Canton, with a stopover in Moscow, Russia. review the agency EFE.

The cheapest ticket, according to what is indicated on the portal, has a price of 2,119.98 dollars, equivalent to 102,437.43 bolivars. In April, the Venezuelan Government had announced that, in “the coming months”, commercial flights would be activated between both countries, as a result of cooperation agreements signed by Caracas and Beijing.

This new announcement is made just when the executive vice president, Delcy Rodríguez, is visiting the Asian giant, with the aim, according to the Chavista Government, of reviewing hundreds of agreements and strengthening bilateral cooperation.
With the flights to Canton, the country adds an international destination, while air operations with Panama, the Dominican Republic, Peru and Chile remain suspended, following an order from the Executive of Nicolás Maduro, after their governments questioned the proclaimed re-election of the president in the presidential elections on July 28.
Representatives of the private sector warn of the negative consequences that the cessation of these flights with these four American countries has had on national tourism, given the few direct connections with Venezuela.
The president of the Association of Airlines (ALAV), Marisela de Loaiza, told this Friday EFE that the airlines «“They are requesting permits” from the authorities, but, for now, “there is no response.”
