Conviasa suspended flights to Chile and Argentina

The state airline Conviasa reported this Friday the suspension of its direct flights on the Caracas-Argentina route; because it is impossible to carry out aerial activities.

Through a statement, published on its account on the social network Twitter, Conviasa pointed out that, at the Ministro Pistarini Ezeiza International Airport, the authorities are “refusing to provide us with aeronautical services.”

Similar action was recorded on the Caracas-Chile route.

“We inform passengers with tickets purchased on the Caracas-Chile route that due to the refusal to provide us with aeronautical services at the Comodoro Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, it is impossible for us to carry out flights with our planes,” the state company wrote in the social network.

In both statements, the company added that they honor the commitments made to passengers. In relation to this, the company indicates that it manages an alternative plan that will take travelers to their final destination.
