The airline Conviasa announced that it will operate on the Caracas-Mérida route starting next May 11, with a frequency of three days a week. The governor of that entity, Jehyson Guzmán, reported that the flights will be on Thursday, Friday and Sunday.
The regional president explained that the departure from the Maiquetía airport will be at 8:45 a.m. and the arrival in the city of Mérida, at the Alberto Carnevali National Airport, will be at approximately 10:00 a.m., for later return to La Guaira. Ticket prices start at $98, according to what Conviasa publishes on its official website.

In February, the Minister of Transport and President of the line airline, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, affirmed that this 2023 the company shows a growth of 30% in international routes and 24% in national ones.
