Conviasa celebrates the liberation of Emtrasur crew members with a walk

Conviasa celebra liberación de tripulantes de Emtrasur con caminata

The workers of the Venezuelan Consortium of Aeronautical Industries and Air Services (Conviasa), celebrated the release of the 19 crew members of the plane of the Aerocargo del Sur Transport Company (Emtrasur), who were kidnapped in Argentina, with a walk of eight kilometers.

This was reported by the Minister for Transport and President of Conviasa, Ramón Velásquez Araguayán, through his account on the social network Twitter, @rvaraguayanin which he explained that the walk took place in the streets of Maiquetía, La Guaira state.

“With an 8K victory walk we celebrate the liberation of the 19 Emtrasur crew members, the orange tide of Conviasa poured into the streets of Maiquetía to shout to the world that our fight for the liberation of the plane continues”, published the minister of Transportation.

The plane and its crew were hijacked in Argentina last June, being held illegally for more than four months. Finally, the Argentine justice recognized that there is no crime.

The last group of five crew members of the Emtrasur plane arrived in the country this Friday.

It should be noted that the dispute over the Boeing 747-300 aircraft, belonging to Emtrasur, is still pending, after a request issued to the Argentine judge, Federico Villena, dated June 21, 2022, where he requests the return of the aircraft that remains retained in that country since June 6 this year.
