This Tuesday, the results of the XX Congress of the Communist Party of China, held from October 15 to 22, 2022, are analyzed in the special discussion China in the New Expedition and the World, which is held in the Sucre Hall, of the Yellow House , in Caracas, with the aim of exposing the importance of the development of the Asian giant in the global context and its contribution to the countries of the region.
The meeting analyzes the economic, social and political results, and the impact on international relations between China and the countries of Latin America.
The special conversation has the participation of the ambassador of the People’s Republic of China in Venezuela, Li Baorong; the Vice Minister for Asia, the Middle East and Oceania of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Capaya Rodríguez; the president of the China-Venezuela Friendship Group of the National Assembly, Nicolás Maduro Guerra; the director for Latin America of China Media Group, Zhu Boying; the president of the Center for Advanced Studies on Development and Emerging Economies, Andreína Tarazón; the deputy to the National Assembly, Rodolfo Sanz; and the doctor in Political Studies, Sergio Rodríguez.
In the opening speech of the conversation, the Chinese ambassador to Venezuela, Li Baorong, stressed that “with the development of China, stability will be generated worldwide. The prosperity of countries that live in harmony and cooperate for a shared gain will only endure.”
In this regard, he emphasized that “China is willing to work with Venezuela and peace-loving countries. We seek common prosperity.”
set friendship concept
In his speech, Sergio Rodríguez, PhD in Political Studies, emphasized that the first task is to get to know each other and put the concept of friendship first, understanding that China and Venezuela present different cultures.
“For us, friendship is a strong and deep bond,” he said.
China as a benchmark for Latin America
Before the special conversation, the director for Latin America of the China Media Group (CMG), Zhu Boying, stated that the Chinese development model can serve as a reference for Latin America.
“China and Venezuela have had very close relations for a long time and every day the economic relationship becomes closer. These relations mark the Chinese development model that can serve as a reference for the development of this continent, Latin America”, she said.
Zhu Boying highlighted the cooperation projects and events organized by the CMG with the local media in Latin America.
«Our regional headquarters is located in Brazil, but in countries like Argentina, Colombia, we have fixed correspondents and we are about 30 correspondents distributed throughout almost all of Latin America, we pay close attention to the latest news that occurs in the countries of the region and we focus in bilateral relations between China and Latin America,” he added.
China: innovation and advancement
For his part, Deputy Rodolfo Sanz highlighted the resilience of the people and the inventiveness of its leaders to achieve the social development that today characterizes the Asian giant.
“With the vision of economic planning for 2050, China corrects elements raised earlier, and I have no doubt that just as they reached the goal of a moderately prosperous society, they will reach a socialist, modern, industrialized country by 2050 to continue contributing to the development of humanity” he added.
