During this Saturday, social networks began to echo a publication that was in the BCI Store, corresponding to the Bank of the same name, where a coin that alluded to the 1973 coup d’état was offered as a product.

Hundreds of users began to replicate the product, which consisted of a coin that on one side showed the bombing of the La Moneda Palace and on the other an angel dressed in the Chilean flag and the motto: “Freedom”. In the BCI Store it was offered under the name: “September 11, 1973 Coin” at a price of $9,990.

After the claims of hundreds of people, Banco BCI through its Twitter account indicated that the offering businesses are responsible for the products offered, but as an entity they have decided to unpublish the product and review the filters to avoid this type of situation.
