In the last hours, a publication circulated on social networks in which a renowned marketing businessman, identified as one of the possible participants in the sexual exploitation network investigated in Operation Ocean, was campaigning for “No” in the referendum against 135 articles of the Urgent Consideration Law (LUC).

The individual, named DS, is being investigated in Operation Ocean for alleged crimes of sexual exploitation of minors. “Join the future. Join the LUC. We are Uruguay. We are all from the LUC. I followed the intelligence of our government: Coalition Party. from our President, Luis Lacalle ”, says the tweet accompanied by an image of an animated character from a popular brand of meat products. It also reads “To all our customers, Merry Christmas.”

The company was unmarked

On the afternoon of this January 2, the company Sarubbi, which appears alluded to in the businessman’s post, issued a statement in which he wanted to record that it has “nothing to do with the words and publications on Twitter” in which it was used. his brand for political purposes, and clarified that this person has no direct link with the company.

“The company will take legal action in this regard,” added the statement posted on Facebook.
