Controlled fire at the PDVSA Operations Center in Monagas

Officials of the Venezuelan Oil Brigade (PDVSA), together with a person from the National Risk Management System, controlled the fire that broke out in the Tejero Operations Center of the state oil company located in Punta de Mata, Monagas state.

Through his account on the social network Twitter, Carlos Pérez Ampueda, Vice Minister for Risk Management and Civil Protection, indicated that the necessary protocols were activated to attend to the emergency.

For this – he explained -, the production of light crude oil was closed, which is associated with the Tejero Flow Station.

“Controlled and totally extinguished. A group of fire inspectors is appointed to determine the causes, ”he stressed.
