This Monday continues the reading of the accusation of the Anti-octopus case in the Seventh Court of Instruction of the National District, after having been recessed for today last Friday.
The case is led by the brother of former President of the Republic Danilo Medina, alexis medina Sánchez and Carmen Magalys Medina, also the sister of the former president, is also involved.
The case is against alexis medina Sánchez, the main defendant, as well as 27 other individuals and 21 companies facing charges in an extensive file for corruption and money laundering that consists of 3,445 pages.
The Public Ministry presented last Friday before Judge Deiby Timoteo Peguero, of the Seventh Investigating Court of the National District, the reading of 95 pages of the file on the Anti-octopus case. In two days, it has advanced to page 234.
