Organization process carried out by the HR Manager of the Municipality

He estimated that, towards the month of March, no later than April of next year, the functioning of the Departmental Executive will be in accordance with what the new Administration headed by Mayor Morel intends.

The person in charge of the Human Resources Area confirmed that so far there have been 169 dismissals, highlighting that although the Municipality is above the number of officials it should have, there will be no more dismissals.

“We are in the middle of the reorganization process, perhaps 85% of what Christian Morel intends as Mayor. We rely on that to continue working. There is still a little time left to continue arranging the house, in a job that we have been doing as a team,” he highlighted. Marcelo Soca.

“When we took over we found a very big disorder” said the current Personnel Manager of the Administration. “There were officials who received a salary and did not perform any type of tasks, officials who worked in one area and were actually working in others, there was really disorder at the level of the structure of the Municipality. We are in this process of reordering so that everything is as close to the ideal as possible.” He said during the live interview on EL PROFESIONAL Radio this Wednesday, October 22.

He confirmed that in total there were 169 officials dismissed in this Departmental Government Administration. “There are people who did not perform any task and officials with performances below expectations” he explained.

Although it has been 100 days of management, there is still a need to detect an official who does not know where he is. “Although we are in the process and there is still a small percentage left to reach what we want, we have been detecting that there are people who are on the list and who are not really working” he assured.

Marcelo Soca highlighted the coordinated work he does daily with Carlos Rodríguez, NGO Manager. “We observe the reality of both municipal officials and the NGOs themselves, the task they perform and the schedule they must do. Always working side by side, constantly meeting with Christian and Pablo Duarte to try to direct this” he stated.

“Many things were detected that were wrong and efforts are being made to correct them” express.

“The official, once he has left, realizes why this Administration came and immediately tries to contribute his own. We have found a staff with which we are really very happy” he stated.

“The proof is that before taking over as Mayor, Morel said that there could be 300 dismissals, today there are 169 and that is a product that many deserved that they will continue in the position because they have put on the management shirt. This makes us see that we have been doing things well. The vast majority of municipal colleagues carry out their tasks in a very good way” highlighted the Personnel Manager.

He said that the dialogue with ADEOM is constant. “We talk to Ivana Mayer once or twice a week, and we also pass each other daily in the hallways of the Municipality. We are always at your service and we know that it is the same on your part” he remarked. “That has to be like that because otherwise it doesn’t work, everything that ADEOM is not satisfied with must be raised and everything that we are not satisfied with we also have to raise it. There always has to be a dialogue, good communication so that work continues in this way” said Marcelo Soca.
