In Peru, only three out of ten young people who end basic education access higher education. Aware of this reality, the Continental University He launched the campaign “I do not give up doing my best”, to offer a more accessible and adaptable educational model.
Guillermo Sánchez, an academic vice chancellor of the Continental University, highlighted the importance of the initiative by pointing out that “it may seem that we have many higher education institutions, but only very few people study in them. That means there is still a gap to cover very large. ”
For his part, Carla Pinares, brand and product experience manager, explained that the campaign was born from a deep research that revealed a fundamental truth: there is no single way of being a student.
“Each person charges with their own stories, responsibilities and dreams when deciding a career, and many times he feels that to study he must give up something valuable, such as time with his family or job commitments,” he said.
In this sense, the Continental University has developed an adaptive educational model that offers face -to -face, semi -resident already distance modalities, combining customization, accompaniment and innovation.
From a more global perspective, Patricia Barrios, executive director of Continental International Education, stressed that education is in a transformation process.
“The traditional universities model arose to respond to a context framed in the second industrial revolution. We rethink education as a tool for development and social progress, at the service of humanity and life, ”he said.
He also emphasized that the campaign “I do not give up doing my best” seeks to recognize and value the efforts of the students, presenting different forms of learning and providing a more flexible alternative.
He emphasized that with this campaign, the Continental University reinforces its commitment to offer a quality education, which adapts to the needs of the students and allows them to advance their training without having to give up other important facets of their life.
