Sandoval’s defense argued that it was a reckless homicide seeking to reduce the sentence; However, the Prosecutor’s Office maintained that “La Rubia” drove recklessly and with contempt for human life. At the time of the traffic accident, the young man recorded a live video in which he stated that he was not intoxicated and apologized for the deaths.
