Cuba identified 24 cases of COVID-19 this Sunday, according to the part published today by the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP). They reported 18 medical discharges.
The authorities reported that there were no bedridden in intensive care due to the disease, a statistic that, as far as was known, would have been added by the Holguin painter Cosme Proenza, Died this day due to complications from the disease.
In total, 225 was the number of admissions until midnight on September 11; in 95 cases they were suspected of having contracted the disease and 130 added the confirmed assets.

The laboratories processed 1067 samples for a 2.2% positivity. Of the positives, 18 correspond to contacts of confirmed cases, while five included the patients in whom the cause of the infection was not specified. Only one imported case was identified.
Nine provinces reported infections, but none exceeded the eight cases that Holguín identified as the top.
Havana, Mayabeque, Villa Clara, Granma, Santiago de Cuba and the Isla de la Juventud Special Municipality were free of new cases.
By age ranges, 17 were under 20 years old, three corresponded to the range between 20 and 39 years, two to 40 to 59 and two were also over 60.
The fatalities of COVID-19 remain at 8,530 and the fatality rate at 0.77% in Cuba.
