The Ministry of Public Health reported this Wednesday, through bulletin number 652 that in the last 24 hours 8,048 samples of SARS-CoV-2 were processed, of which 1,510 were positive for the coronavirus.
In the Dominican Republic 6,592 cases are active, with 418,778 registered, 2,157,059 suspected cases discarded and 4407,939 patients recovered from the disease.
The daily positivity It is 30.28%% and that of the last four weeks at 6.96%.
The country accumulates a total of 4,247 people killed by the disease since the pandemic began. Of these, only one occurred in the last 24 hours.
The lethality It is at 1.01% percent and mortality per million inhabitants is at 406.47.
The General Directorate of Epidemiology points out that of the 2,261 COVID beds that the Hospital Network has, 396 are occupied, for 18 percent of the 585 beds of the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) that the system has for patients affected by the disease 108 they are occupied, which represents 18 percent.
Meanwhile, out of a total of 469 fans of the system 72 people are connected, for 15 percent.
