Santo Domingo, RD.-The Ministry of Public Works (MOPC) reported on the evident deterioration suffered by the highway 6 of November for reasons of non-observance in the application of asphalt in the transformation of the rest lanes to fast ones.
In that sense, he points out that repairing these construction defects will cost the Government a sum greater than 900 million pesos.
In addition, he indicated that within the maintenance work that is being carried out on the important communication route between the capital and the South is the removal of the asphalt in the parts that show deterioration. However, he points out that for this it is first necessary to comply with an adequate pavement design and thus continue with the asphalting process.
