The Construction Confidence Index (ICST), measured by the Getulio Vargas Foundation (FGV), rose by 1.2 points from May to June this year. The growth came after a drop of 1.4 points from April to May. As a result, the indicator reached 97.5 points, on a scale of 0 to 200 points.
The two sub-indices that make up the ICST were up. The Present Situation Index, which measures the confidence of the construction entrepreneur in the present, rose 1.4 points and reached 93.9 points.
The Expectations Index, which measures the confidence of the construction business in the future, increased 0.9 point and reached 101.2 points.
The Capacity Utilization Level (Nuci) of Construction rose 1.1 percentage points and reached 77.1%.
