Despite the opposition of left-wing legislators, the working group – chaired by Fernando Rospigliosi – supported by 21 votes, some with reservations, authorizing private contributions “including the use of real estate, free of charge” as long as they do not exceed in one year the equivalent of 500 UIT “regardless of the number of organizations to which it contributes.”
Along these lines, it is specified that the contribution “per contributor” for each group must not exceed 200 UIT.
The opinion, which is still pending debate in the Plenary of the Legislature, adds that the fees and contributions will be made “up to 40% of the limit established through an account of the Banco de la Nación.”
Said entity, he adds, must ensure that the deposit or transfer receipt “does not include the name of the organization to which the contribution is directed in such a way that the confidentiality of the contributor is preserved.”
