Consorcio Parking Panama still cannot charge for parking in La Chorrera

The Mayor’s Office of La Chorrera informed the public that it is not yet possible to charge for the use of parking lots in this district.

Through a statement, the municipality said that the contract signed with the Panama Parking Consortium, for the collection for the use of parking lots in public easement, is still pending the improvement of legal, technical and administrative aspects.

They specified that “the Panama Parking Consortium cannot carry out the process of charging drivers of motor vehicles for the use of parking lots in this district.”

The Panama Parking Consortium was already notified of this situation by the Municipality of La Chorrera, through a note sent to the legal representative of this corporation.

They stressed that transparency has characterized the administration of Mayor Tomás Velásquez Correa, so the population will be kept informed about everything concerning this issue.
