Tiziana Polesel, president of the National Council of Commerce and Services (Consecomercio), He assured that the economic recovery registered in the commercial sector in 2022 began to recede in December.

He reiterated that Consecomercio bets that prices are set by the market because “any type of regulation or control brings scarcity.”

In his opinion, he stressed that it is very cumbersome, both for the merchant and for the consumer, to work with two currencies and multiple payment systems. “What Venezuelans are experiencing is not normal.”
