Conmebol (South American Football Confederation) announced, this Friday (13), that the Recopa Sul-Americana will be played on the 20th and 27th of February 2025. The dispute involves Botafogo, current champion of the Copa Libertadores, and Racing (Argentina), holder of the Copa Sudamericana title.
The first match, on February 20th at 9:30 pm (Brasília time), will be played in Buenos Aires (Argentina). The return game, on February 27th at 9:30 pm, will take place in the city of Rio de Janeiro.
The Recopa Sul-Americana dispute is another opportunity for Alvinegro de General Severiano to win an unprecedented trophy, after winning the Copa Libertadores, on November 30th over Atlético-MG in Buenos Aires.
