Congressman Vivian Olivos resigns from the Fuerza Popular bench

The congresswoman Vivian Olivos Martínez He presented his irrevocable resignation from the Fuerza Popular bench through a document addressed to the Chief Officer of Congress, Giovanni Forno Flórez.

In the document, dated October 27, 2025, the parliamentarian reported that the decision responds to “strictly personal and conscientious reasons”, after having joined the bench since the beginning of the current legislative period.

Olivos Martínez, who represents the Lima Provinces region, pointed out that for 15 years he was an active part of the political organization, in which he developed “responsibility and respect for the principles that gave rise to this organization.”

The congresswoman requested to be considered as “Not Grouped for the corresponding administrative purposes”, reaffirming her commitment to continue working with “the same vocation and dedication for the citizens of the Lima Provinces region and Peru.” With this resignation, Olivos joins the list of parliamentarians who abandon their original benches in Congress.
