A few days are missing for the beginning of the last legislative year of the 2021-2026 five-year period, and in that context the process of renewing spokesmen of the benches in the bench also began Congress of the Republic for the last stretch of the parliamentary period.
For now, the bench of Somos Peru chose the congresswoman Ana Zegarra Savoyrepresentative of the Loreto region, as a starting spokeswoman in replacement of Héctor Valer who held the position during the last year.
Through a press release published on its social networks, the block also formalized the designation of Congressman José Jerí as his candidate for the next board of directors of Congress.
As reported in a timely manner Peru21Jerí is already the candidate chosen by the so -called democratic block to apply for the presidency of the Congress of the Republic, and the registration of the list that will head will be held this Friday 25. In the press release, meanwhile, it is specified that the legislator “will promote the dialogue and the search for consensus that allow building a plural and democratic representation.”
Likewise, the group greets the incorporation of congressmen Alex Paredes, Elizabeth Medina and Oscar Zea to their ranks highlighting their commitment to social organizations.
“From Somos Peru we reaffirm our commitment to democracy, institutionality and inclusion working for a Congress that is a true space for dialogue with science and construction of public policies that respond to the needs of all Peruvians,” they said.
Who is Ana Zegarra?
Congresswoman Ana Zegarra Saboya swore to the position of congressman on October 2 of last year in replacement of the late parliamentary Hitler Saavedra.
Zegarra reached a seat by obtaining 4,917 preferential votes in the general elections of 2021 and replaces Saavedra who died in the city of Cusco in mid -September last year due to heart failure.
