For the Oversight Commission of the Congress of the Republic, there is still much to clarify regarding the cosmetic operation that the President of the Republic would have undergone, Dina Boluartein the middle of last year.
The president of said working group, Juan Burgos, reiterated his invitation to surgeon Mario Cabani Ravello, who would have operated on the president, for which he has requested information in this regard.
The summons is scheduled for this Tuesday, December 10, starting at 10 in the morning.

According to the letter sent by Juan Burgos to Cabani, and published in RPP, the agenda item of the session is the “conducting of a preoperative, operative and postoperative evaluation within the period from June 29 to July 10, 2023 to the president of the Republic, Dina Boluarte”.
In this context, it specifies that Cabani must provide information about the treatment that was carried out on the head of state, the doctors who intervened, the recovery period “and, above all, whether it entailed a total medical rest, which generated the impossibility of carrying out work or public activity”.
This is the second invitation made by the Supervision and Comptroller Commission to the aforementioned doctor; On a previous occasion he did not respond to the call and it emerged that he had traveled abroad.
Different criminal lawyers have pointed out, meanwhile, that the surgeon will not be able to provide information to the congressional committee about his patient, unless expressly authorized by it, and would only be obliged to do so by court order.
