The president of the CongressJosé Williams (Avanza País), convened a plenary session for next Thursday, December 1, where the admission of the third vacancy motion against President Pedro Castillo will be seen, which was presented this Tuesday by parliamentarian Edward Málaga (Not Grouped ).
By means of a summons, it is indicated that the call is made as agreed in the Board of Spokespersons this Tuesday. In addition, it was detailed that the aforementioned session will be held from 6:00 pm and can be attended in person or virtually.
“In said session, the admission of the vacancy request of the Presidency of the Republic will be discussed.requested by Order of the Day Motion 4904, for the reasons set forth in subsection 2) of article 113 of the Political Constitution of Peru”, reads the document.
As recalled, for the admission of this initiative, a minimum of 52 votes are necessary, in case the 130 legislators attend said plenary session.

Edward Málaga presented this Tuesday the third vacancy motion against Castillo Terrones, under the grounds of permanent moral incapacity. The document was presented with a total of 67 signatures from different banks.
The initiative requires 87 votes to be approved and remove the president. The last two attempts that were presented in this regard were unsuccessful.
The document, of more than 100 pages, mentions that the president is being investigated by the Public Ministry. The document is presented after it became known that the Government has interpreted the flat rejection of the first question of confidence raised before Parliament as a rejection of confidence, which has opened the possibility of the closure of Congress.
