This Wednesday begins the curricular evaluation of the 71 candidates who passed the mark stage of the selection process of members of the constitutional Court. The review will be in charge of the Special Commission of Congress and will culminate on January 11, and from 12 to 17 the sworn statements of the applicants will be presented before the Comptroller General of the Republic.
Julio Rodríguez, a lawyer who would have had telephone calls with César Hinostroza between May 2016 and September 2017, continues in the process. Also Francisco Morales, who has three complaints filed at the prosecutorial level, for abuse of authority and for omission of functional acts. Likewise, the former president of the TC and former congressman Carlos Mesía and the former magistrate of the TC Fernando Calle are still in the running.
Others who will go through the curricular evaluation are the public prosecutor of Sunat, José Escalante; former congresswoman María Teresa Cabrera and lawyer Javier Orihuela Rojas, brother of the current Junín regional governor who took office after the departure of Vladimir Cerrón Rojas.
Reconsiderations
The secretary of the commission, Wilmar Elera (SP), specified that three reconsiderations were rejected in the blackout process.
