The congresswoman of Avanza País, Patricia Chirinospresented a motion on the agenda for the creation of a commission to investigate the relationship between officials and former officials of the Executive and Chinese companies.
The proposal proposes that the working group have 5 members and that it have a period of 120 days to investigate, from 2018 to the present, officials and former officials of the Executive Power and their relations with the activities of Chinese companies, whose managers are officials of the People’s Republic of China, in the so-called “Chinese Construction Club”.
The motion is based on the fact that companies of Chinese origin such as Civil Engineering Construction Corporation and China CAMC Engineering COLTD have sanctions in the State Procurement Court for submitting inaccurate information to try to win public tenders.
Due to this situation, “various Chinese companies have only won contracts for S/1. 812 million and many of them, the press reports, have a history of corruption.
The document details that this “club” would have been constituted through the presentation of unbeatable guarantees, which can only be obtained in Chinese banks that operate in our country with official permission from the Superintendence of Banking and Insurance (SBS).
