As reported by the Legislative Power, the spokespersons met under the direction of María del Carmen Alva, and set the procedure for electing the new members of the TC in the plenary session scheduled for 4 pm
In the first place, the president of the special commission that selects the six eligible candidates to be evaluated by the plenary session, José Balcázar (Free Peru), will support the report and present the list of merits.

It was also decided that there will be no debate nor will the presentation of previous questions be allowed on this topicso the vote will proceed directly candidate by candidate, starting with the first position and according to the Organic Law of the Constitutional Court.
It should be remembered that on April 18, the special commission confirmed who will be the six lawyers eligible to be elected as members of the TC to replace the magistrates with expired mandates.
The table of merits and, therefore, the order in which they will be voted by the plenary session this Tuesday is as follows:
- Morales Saravia, Francisco Humberto (cumulative score of 92.89).
- Gutierrez Ticse, Luis Gustavo (cumulative score of 88.67).
- Dominguez Haro, Helder (cumulative score 84.00)
- Pacheco Zerga, Luz Imelda (cumulative score 83.96)
- Monteagudo Valdez, Manuel (cumulative score 75.88)
- Ochoa Cardich, Cesar Augusto (cumulative score 73.32)
If any of the six candidates obtains at least 87 votes in plenary, they will proceed to be appointed as members of the TC to replace one of the five magistrates with an expired mandate (the sixth member, Carlos Ramos Núñez, died and his position is vacant). ).
