Congress of Mayors presented the Single National Registry of Food, Companies and Vehicles

Congress of Mayors resolved an extension for free re-registration until December 30

The Congress of Mayors met in Montevideo and during the session the presentation of the Single National Registry of Food, Companies and Vehicles (RUNAEV) was made.

This system will allow to unify the bromatological procedures of the 19 municipalities, for the authorization of premises, products and vehicles, turning them into a single national registry, valid in all departments.

The Congress of Mayors, in agreement with the 19 departmental governments, is responsible for its management. Currently, with the support of the Planning and Budget Office, the computer system that will allow its implementation is being developed. Likewise, different groups made up of referents from the municipalities and related areas are working on the specific aspects of RUNAEV, this being a collaborative process.
