Venezuela will be the global epicenter of Congress in defense of Mother Earth that will be held in Caracas from October 9 to 10, with the participation of more than three thousand people, among which experts, leaders, activists, social movements, environmentalists, scientists, academics, students, ecosocialist advice and popular power stand out.
These are two thousand 657 international and 253 international guests from 56 countries in the world, who will discuss nine issues, such as the climate crisis and the prevailing socioeconomic model; biodiversity at risk; the rights of Mother Earth; socio -environmental conflicts and human rights; pollution and waste; sustainable economy; environmental education and culture; intergenerational justice and youth; international alliances and concrete actions.
In the Bicentennial of the Decree of Chuquisaca, issued by the Liberator Simón Bolívar, the Bolivarian Government led by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro, takes a step forward to bring together the peoples of the world, who will raise their voices to discuss, generate proposals and join efforts to act concretely before the emergency and the effects of the capitalist climate crisis.
This important event will be a prelude to the Conference of the Parties (COP30), to be held in November 2025 in the city of Bethlehem of the Federative Republic of Brazil, and will allow to unify criteria on urgent and transverse issues that affect the planet, through the integration of scientific, political, social, economic, economic and cultural perspectives.
