Congress deducted more than S/204 thousand from parliamentarians for non-attendance in 2024

He Congress of the Republic reported a cumulative total of S/204,243 in discounts due to absences of parliamentarians during 2024. According to the information published on its website, May was the month with the highest figure, reaching S/41,928 due to lack of attendance at the sessions of the Plenary Session, the Board of Directors, the Permanent Commission and the ordinary and special commissions.

Other months with significant discount figures were June, with S/34,112, and December, with S/26,381. While February and August recorded the lowest amounts of the year, with S/4,680 and S/5,269, respectively. It should be noted that In the month of April there are no amounts in the official report prepared by the Human Resources Department of the Congresssince no discounts were made during that period

How were the discounts for non-attendance in 2023 for congressmen?

During 2023, the Congress of the Republic applied discounts for a total of S/261,496.72 to parliamentarians. December was the month that recorded the highest figure, with deductions that totaled S/41,172.19

Other months with relevant amounts were May with S/37,622.75 and June, with S/32,644.17. On the contrary, the months of March and August presented the lowest amounts, with S/10,296.00 and S/11,577.17, respectively.
