The president of the Chamber of Deputies, Hugo Motta (Republicans-PB), scheduled for Wednesday (20) session of the General Commission that aims to advance effective measures to ensure the safety of children and adolescents on the Internet. The commission will be formed by parliamentarians and guests.
“There are important guidelines that require debate, negotiation, time. But this agenda cannot wait, because a lost childhood does not recover. A injured child carries this brand forever,” said Motta.
“This discussion is unadvised and even more so, the position of this home on this topic.”
According to the mayor, there are more than 60 bills filed in the House on this topic. A working group formed by parliamentarians and experts will also study the issue in the next 30 days.
The subject gained repercussion after complaints from Felca Bress influencer against profiles that use children and adolescents with little clothing, dancing sensual songs or talking about sex in programs released on digital platforms to monetize this content, generating money for channel owners, called “children’s adultization”.
Proposal
Last week, President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva said he will send to the National Congress a proposal to regulate social networks.
“We will regulate because we need to create the minimum behavior and procedure in the operation of a digital network,” said the president in an interview with journalist Reinaldo Azevedo, from Band News.
For Lula, what happens today is that no one assumes responsibility for content in these environments.
The president argues that it is not admissible to give up to ensure tranquility to children and adolescents who may be victims of attacks and pedophilia. “As we saw in the boy’s denunciation [o influenciador Felca]”.
According to him, Brazil must be concerned with crimes committed in digital networks that must be tried and punished. “This is not possible. That’s why we will regulate.”
