The conflict in the Administration of Airports and Auxiliary Services to Air Navigation (AASANA) has no solution despite the dialogue installed in the last hours. The workers of the entity confirmed the stoppage of activities in the 42 airports of the country while the Government prepares a contingency plan to guarantee the service.
The executive secretary of the National Federation of Workers (Fenta-Aasana), Einar Roca, informed Digital Page Seven that this Wednesday’s strike is “confirmed” and will affect the operations of 42 airports in the country.
“Everyone will stop, there are 42 at the national level,” said the leader, who also regretted that the government’s proposal did not arrive until midnight.

“We apologize, but we hold the Government responsible for the strike that could have been stopped previously, we also want to announce that the (air) controllers joined our pressure measure,” said the leader of the Santa Cruz sector, Jorge Saavedra.
The sector demands the resignation of the director Arminda Choque and requests the payment of wages owed and overtime.
The Minister of Public Works, Services and Housing, Édgar Montaño, questioned the pressure measure, ruled out the resignation of the director of Aasana and announced a contingency plan.
