Of the total confirmed cases, 98% correspond to men and 2% to women. In addition, 47.7% of infected people are between 30 and 39 years old, and 11 cases are under 20 years old.
As of September 7, the World Health Organization (WHO) reported 54,709 confirmed cases of monkeypox in 102 countries, as well as 18 deaths.
