Despite the rainy season, dengue has not rebounded, partly because a minor transmission was already expected, because this 2025 continues to predominate serotype 3 and the population has generated immunity.
The decrease is also given within the framework of the National Strategy against Dengue, which the Ministry of Health launched in March to reinforce the surveillance, control and medical care actions of this disease.
According to official data, 2,627 of the confirmed cases correspond to non -serious dengue, while 2,752 have been identified as dengue with severe alarm and dengue signs.
The states with the highest incidence of confirmed cases are Tabasco, which accumulates 11.65 per 100,000 inhabitants; Jalisco, with 11.34; Guerrero, with 10.20; Michoacán, with 9.68; and Veracruz, with a rate of 9.49.
Health authorities have also notified 332 deaths by probable dengue, of which 32 have been confirmed; Another 159 cases are under study and 141 have been ruled out.
Confirmed deaths are endorsed by the National Committee for Epidemiological Surveillance and are published until this body meets, so they are registered with greater distance from the date they occur.
The National Dengue Plan includes the installation of more than Ovitrampas in different municipalities, to monitor the presence of the Aedes Aegypti mosquito, the distribution of insecticides and specialized equipment in areas with active shoots. It also considers nebulization and larval control in high -risk areas.
