The incident occurred in the Panadería Vieja neighborhood of Ceballos. The thieves were hiding in an abandoned house in front of the building where the murder occurred, said the neighbor consulted by CubaNet.
In a Facebook post, user Mislady Morell said that one of the victims was her cousin. “It pains me greatly to have to make this post today. I feel immense pain, frustration, anger, rage and helplessness for what just happened to my cousin and her child,” said Morell.
