The National Council for Finance Policy (Confaz) published today (10) a new table for the weighted average price to the final consumer (PMPF) of fuels in the states and the Federal District. A ordinance with the new values it’s in the Official Diary of the Union (DOU) and starts to be valid from next Thursday (16).
The PMPF table serves as the basis for calculating the Tax on Operations Related to the Circulation of Goods and on Interstate and Intercity Transport and Communication Services (ICMS), “for tax substitution purposes, in operations with S10 Diesel, Diesel Oil , Liquefied Petroleum Gas LPG/P13 and LPG”.
It considers as a criterion the moving average of the average prices charged to the final consumer in up to 60 months prior to its setting. The measure, however, is optional for the states and the Federal District and does not necessarily define prices at the fuel pump at the stations.
