CONEP calls for rigorous investigations and respect for due process after allegations of corruption in SeNaSa

He National Council of Private Enterprise (CONEP) This Sunday, he established his position regarding the recent events linked to alleged acts of corruption in the National Health Insurance (SeNaSa), reiterating its commitment to ethics, transparency and strengthening the rule of law as essential bases for the development of the country.

In a statement published on its Instagram account, the business organization condemned any illegal action that affects public resources and erodes citizen trust, insisting that these types of cases must be investigated thoroughly, professionally and without external pressure.

“CONEP reaffirms its commitment to transparency, ethics and the rule of law as pillars of national development. We condemn any illegal action that affects public resources and citizen trust,” points out the organization, which also demands complete and responsible investigations, aimed at identifying those responsible, recovering funds and applying the corresponding sanctions.

The business sector also emphasized the importance of due process, warning that justice should not turn into political persecution or media trials. “The guarantee of rights, objectivity and truth must guide every step of the justice system,” the union indicated.

Likewise, CONEP called for progress in reforms and greater control mechanisms that allow strengthening transparency and trust in public administration. He considers that only with solid institutions can we ensure a country that is “more wholesome, competitive and prosperous for all.”

The statement concludes by reaffirming that the fight against corruption must transcend any particular interest and serve as an impetus to improve public management and consolidate a climate of trust between citizens and institutions.
