The president of the National Assembly Crispiano Adames after concluding the first legislature of the third legislative period in his speech, accepted that decisive moments could not be reached on issues of conflicts of interest and internal regulations, but progress was made gradually in specific approaches towards that reality.
When referring to the projects approved in this first term of the third term, Adames mentioned the regulations that reorganize the SINAPROC, the national system for the official registry of sex offenders, the law that extends the scope of the maternity jurisdiction to the father and grants vacations in the event of the mother’s death.
Similarly, the law that regulates home education, the regulation of agrotourism, the medicinal and therapeutic use of cannabis, the recognition of the payment of the seniority premium for public servants.
He also highlighted the bills approved in the third debate and that are awaiting approval, such as the international tax transparency and prevention of money laundering, terrorist financing, better known as the FATF law.
He also referred to the tax amnesty project, which will give taxpayers an economic break; the one that regulates the electronic invoice, which will allow to increase the collections to the treasury and will stop the evasion; the one that encourages electric mobility in transport and that will help reduce the effects of climate change; the one that regulates cabotage and domestic trade activities in jurisdictional waters in the national territory, among others.
