Alejandro Malagón Barragán, leader of the Confederation of Industrial Chambers (Concamin), considered that if there was corruption in Infonavit, those responsible should pay.
In an interview after participating in a conference offered by the National Chamber of the Textile Industry (Canaintex) and the National Chamber of the Clothing Industry (Canaive), the president of the organization commented that the sector he represents is very grateful to the Morenoist deputy. Ricardo Monreal on the review of the initiative to reform the Infonavit Law.
Whoever did wrong has to pay
said Malagón Barragán when questioned about the acts of corruption denounced by Octavio Romero, director of the institute.
“The important thing is that everything has a solution. We have to see how the council, the assembly operate, how the surveillance, transparency, and investment committees will really work and that have teeth”, he highlighted.
Malagón Barragán indicated that it is necessary for there to be tripartite representation so that the decisions made always put the worker at the center and so that they can have affordable housing.
