Agents of the National Anti-Extortion and Kidnapping Command (Conas) rescued two people who were kidnapped in La Cañada de Urdaneta (Zulia), according to military sources.
The victims are identified as Jorge Luis Urdaneta Martínez and Yusgleidys Josefina Corona Urdaneta, who were rescued at kilometer 35 of the aforementioned Zulia municipality.
Relatives of these people reported the disappearance of Jorge and Yusgleidys, for which they activated a device due to the death threat that the criminals had made against the victims.
The Conas commission arrived at the site and observed the presence of individuals who were members of the El Virolo criminal gang, whose leader Ángel Enrique Bravo Bravo was arrested. The others fled.
At the site, the military seized a cell phone, a Toyota Corolla license plate AG452TM and a Chevrolet Silverado license plate A20AK1, according to a report from Conas, an elite group of the Bolivarian National Guard.
